Jungle tested Survived the Amazon – not the site but the jungle/river. We used these for night hikes and navigating around the camp at night. Much better than a flashlight – especially when hiking. It gets much brighter than you expect.

Great headlamp, very pleased Pretty awesome headlamp. I am finally getting back into camping now that my kids are old enough to take along. Last trip i found out my 15 year old petzl tikka had finally died so I recently bought a new one. My old tikka had 3 LED dots while this new one has just one large one. The new model seems much brighter. They have fixed the annoying previous design that automatically popped the batteries out when you opened it, its much more user friendly now.

Great headlamp – excellent combination of features, simplicity, and price point Great headlamp. Petal does it right! They’ve improved this model from the previous, adding more lumens, and longer run-time. The face of the headlamp glows in the dark after powering down, so you can locate it in the dark in your tent :)Light weight, long run-time on 3 AAA’s, dead-simple operation, basic water-resistance. Just about perfect.
