I found that the lower setting is great for running at dusk while the higher setting isn’t … I use this headlamp when I run at night. I found that the lower setting is great for running at dusk while the higher setting isn’t necessary until it gets really dark. The headlamp is lightweight and fits well over hats or headbands. I have worn it directly on my head as well and I haven’t had major issues. It fits well on my big head but is adjustable enough that it should fit individuals with heads of any size.
The best for nighttime reading! This light solved my hubbie’s never ending disappointment at my reading with the ‘stadium lights’ on my bedside table. Now I can read with perfect spot illumination and not disturb his sleep. It just might have saved our marriage!
