Very nice upgrade over the previous design Very nice upgrade over the previous design. Does not leak at all. On the Platypus site, they say that the initial batch was defective and they will replace any leaker free of charge. The bottle I received lives up to the same high Platypus standard as my older bottles. not made for the long haul I thought I was going to really like these but was disappointed after a few week of use. I carried two of them on the Camino in Spain this past Fall. I liked the idea that when they are empty they weigh almost nothing. Unless you are going to coddle them though they do not hold up to a little rough handling. They both developed holes and leaks in the plastic “bottle”. I patched them with duct tape, but they still would leak a bit and I didn’t trust them to carry inside my pack with liquid…

Good Idea, Desigm Flaw Makes this Useless for Travel In theory a great idea with the extra large mouth for easy pour and fill, and handle that also doubles as a clip. The problem is with the cap, which twists off and on for easy filling. The can has two parts, the neck and the snap top cap secured the a clip. The problem is the snap top lid is not airtight.
