The Platypus GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Water Filter Kit for camping, backpacking, and emergency preparedness is a versatile, adaptable water filter solution, compatible with a variety of hydration vessels, including hydration bladders and water bottles from MSR, Nalgene, Klean Kanteen, Hydroflask, Camelback, and more. Ultralight (weighs as little as 6.6 ounces in minimalist configuration), and packable to the size of a 1-liter bottle, it’s ideal for filtering water for 1-4 people while hiking, camping, or trekking. The replaceable hollow-fiber microfilter cartridge filters up to 1,500 gallons of water, and meets EPA and NSF guidelines for removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa, including giardia, cryptosporidium, E. coli, salmonella, and cholera. The water filtration system is easy to use almost anywhere, by scooping water from a lake, river, stream into the 2.0-liter dirty water reservoir, and suspending above a bottle or other clean water reservoir. Water flows through the walls of the bundled fibers at rate of 1.5 liters/minute, leaving impurities behind, without the use of pumps, batteries, moving parts, or chemicals. It’s also easy to maintain in the field, backflushing in just four seconds to clean and restore performance. The Platypus GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Water Filter Kit Includes a 2-liter dirty water reservoir, 2-liter Platy bottle, hollow-fiber filter, hoses, universal bottle adapter, push/pull cap adapter, and storage bag. Made in the USA.

I had the best tasting water in the group Used this when hiking 40 miles of the Rogue River trail in 100+ degree heat. The gravity feed never slowed me down, and with the add-on carbon filter, I had the best tasting water in the group. With a few added quick disconnects, this is the perfect kit for me! Allowed me to keep my water bottles filled, as well as easily refill my bladder without removing it from my pack!

Provide easy, reliable, low effort water when out on the trail This set has been the envy of every hiker we come across (who doesn’t have one already). There’s not really a need to get the 4L set, as this filters so quickly (just a couple minutes) that you pretty much have endless water if you’re near a water source, it’s no big deal to hang a second bag and run some more through. We were offering excess up to others that had hand pump type systems. Among my friends at least 3 of us have this now, we’ve had ours out repeatedly this summer on trips. Hose is…

Most important part of my kit!! This here is a great water system.. crazy fast filtering.. no work needed… can double as a simple filter straw.. and all packs away easy, small and light. I read reviews and watched many videos of various systems being used, talked to users, and used a few systems myself over time. The research showed me that this was the best system for my 4 person, 1 dog family and the wild backpacking we like to do. The super fast filtering of about 1.5L a minute means instant drinking water and refilling…
