Great for black cars! I use this to wash my black car. The water here is full of minerals and leaves terrible spots whether I dry the car or not.This filter works great. I can now wash my car at home instead of paying $20 to have it hand washed!

Not effective enough to cure any problems. Has little to no effect, hose water tested at 430 ppm before the filter was put on, and after running it on a slow speed for 5 minutes with the filter, tested at 420 ppm. Was hoping to use this to fill a hot tub, will be returning and purchasing a different style.

Visibly removes iron We have a hot tub and always use this when we fill it up. The water samples we took to the pool/spa dealer that used the filter were not significantly different than without the filter. The biggest difference we see though is the iron in the water. Without the filter we get a brown tint to the water that we’d have to try to remove with some chemicals and filtration, but with this pre-filter we get very clear water even though the rest of the tests they do on the water are virtually…
