Good but a couple of downfalls When I saw this I thought it was a really cool idea, like the Swiss Army knife of kitchen tools. The reamer, zester and corer work well and the knife is super sharp. It’s also easy to clean. Look forward to trying to the cherry pitter once cherries come back in season. I give it four stars because it’s a little on the heavy side and I didn’t think the peeler worked so well on an apple or carrot. In fairness to the company they do call it a soft fruit peeler and I haven’t tried it on soft fruits.
and how easily it cut into the skin of the apple I … One thing that I immediately appreciated about this tool was how smoothly it peeled, and how easily it cut into the skin of the apple I peeled. Often I find that regular peelers need to be shoved hard into the skin for them to start cutting, but this one catches and begins to peel the fruit really easily… maybe something to do with the serrated edge.
