Our new Eta Lite sets a new standard for compact all-in-one stoves. A new locking mechanism (patent pending) makes it very sturdy and thanks to our new Laminar Flow Burner Technology (patent pending) the stove has a lower burner than would otherwise be possible, this resulting in a more stable, lighter and compact stove. Perfect for the solo trip or coffee break for two. The stove can fit in its 500 ml hard anodized aluminum pot. It also comes with a heat resistant case with safety strap, that means the stove can be used while suspended. The lid cuts cooking times and keeps all the parts securely in place in your backpack – and can also be used as a mug. The stove also features a foot support for stable use on uneven surfaces.

Great stove First up this stove is good value for money. It is a little heavy, but on the plus side it is quite fuel efficient, it uses exactly half of the gas as my optimus crux lite stove to boil 500ml of water at 6.5 and 13 grams of gas respectively, so the weight difference is relative. However the lighter stopped working after only a few uses. The end of the wire appears to melt and not be able to allow the spark to jump across the gap.

Side by side with a jetboil sol Ti, this … Side by side with a jetboil sol Ti, this stove is quite a bit heavier (4oz as measured). Boiling times are fast, but on the very first time using it I had a flare up that engulfed the entire cup in flame. The pot insulator is a hard felt material which melts when it gets too hot.

Full review of a budget stove, great bang for the bucks. Primus is a old stove company that has been around for a long time 1892, this stove works good for the budget backpacker or for anyone just needing to boil water quickly, this won’t boil water as quick as the jetboil series but does the job pretty fast. Tested this stove in real world conditions, seem to work pretty good.Piezo sparker needs some work, I’m it works great right out of the box but after usage it seemed to need more than on try to light, its handy to have but could be…
