When developing the sync, Princeton Tec started with the proven foundation of the stable asymmetrical single arm bracket, integrated essential modes to please a wide variety of discerning users, and tied it all together with an easy to use Interface. Sync allows Direct access to a red LED, spot beam, and flood beam by a twist of the power dial. For those times that require max output a further rotation of the dial activates dual beam Mode – spot and flood at the same time.

The light modes are great. However The light modes are great. However, I think the light itself it’s heavy and it protudes too much from the forehead, instead of being a more sleek design. If the strap it’s not super thigh, the weight and will bring it down.
I really like this headlamp I really like this headlamp. It accepts common batteries, has many functions, is easy to use with it’s rotary type switch (instead of a button), and doesn’t drain just sitting there like many other Princeton Tec lights do. Glad I got it.My only dislike is that after about 45 minutes of continuous use, it dims quite a bit. Not a big deal though as I wasn’t in darkness but rather working inside and close up on something; I needed intense light. For outdoors use, not a problem.
Not worth it!!! To sum it up, there are a lot better lights out there at this price point. I purchased this headlamp for running. I have friends who have less expensive headlamps that seem to illuminate much better and cast a much stronger light (looking at the construction, it appears their reflectors are better designed).
