The Tactical Response is manual action knife for those that prefer non-automatic folder. The TR-4 features 4″ black DLC finished steel blade with partially serrated edge. The ergonomic handle is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. The TR-4 has tip-up carry pocket clip on the back of the knife and includes black nylon sheath.

Aluminum works I’ve used this knife daily for the past 20 years at my job. Protech makes a great knife. You can’t go wrong buying one of their products.
Solid Knife Despite another reviewers comparison to his black Elvis painting, the use of aluminum as a knife handle material is a sound practice. I have at least six knives with aluminum handles and never had a concern. BTW, I also have a Pro Tech Knife with Leopard anodized aluminum handle. It is awesome as well.
This will look nice with your velvet Elvis portrait. I have a knife made by this company with identical scales or handles in the sense that the handle is made out of the same kind of anodized aluminum mentioned in the advertisement for the knife described here. It is a beautiful and flawless finish to be sure. But not for a knife. It absolutely matches the blackness of the black velvet on the velvet Elvis portrait that hangs over my fire place and the material would make an excellent frame for that picture. But most manufacturers will agree…
