Product Instructions: 

Prepare part of our fire tinder under of the fire board holes.Keep drilling the fire board vertically until produce smoke by friction with the wrapped string of the bamboo handle(Please be sure the wrapped string is tight and neat enough to not slip during operation).You need handle the fire tinder carefully and blow it sustainably, then you make fire by yourself.

Warming: Please be careful when the fire suddenly burst into flames !!!

Got this for my class of 4th and 5th graders … Got this for my class of 4th and 5th graders to use during our Forest School work. So much easier to use than most bow drills – especially for little hands. Unique design makes it much easier to apply downward pressure while moving bow back and forth rapidly. Hooray!

Great product

Customer Video Review Length:: 13:09 Mins Well worth the money. This will be great for teaching kids how a bow drill works. Gets a coal super fast. You may have to tweak the notches a little out of the box but other than that it is good to go. The wood is very soft and even though it gets a coal fast you will need to replace the hearth board eventually.

Great teaching tool. I got a couple of these to introduce my young sons (ages 5 and 7) to the concept of friction fire. I really like that the bow is attached to the spindle, so it removes the frustration of having the spindle fly away from the bow like a regular bow drill. I think this is a great teaching tool for those unfamiliar with friction fire as it eases the learning process, especially for younger users.
