Decent but not perfect. Unit works, but not very accurate. Running side by side to my Garmin GPS unit, at 75 mph the Pyle was 4 mph faster. Lag time is significantly more present in the Pyle vs the Garmin. Lower speeds was 1-2 mph faster. Not terrible but what can you expect for 35$.
Works great in my antique car I have an original condition 1930 Chevy Coupe. The speedometer cable broke, and I couldn’t locate a replacement. So I installed this on the dash. I use a 12-volt lantern battery to power it as my Chevy has a 6-volt system. So now when I’m traveling through a 25 mph speed zone, I can avoid getting a speeding ticket. Anything above a 25 mph speed limit, I’m okay without a speedometer.
GPS HUD Speedometer. First day of use and Iâm completely surprised with it. Itâs accurate to within 1 mph or less at all times when compared against my car speedo. On acceleration, the lag is negligible by a second or so. Completely reasonable operations. Iâve tested it up to 70 mph. Iâm really happy with it so far.
