Hard to find screw terminal battery easily located on Amazon. We looked all over town, this type of battery with screw terminals is seeming impossible to find. Doesn’t do me much good, I have broken stuff, and now I need other stuff to do the job (on the way as of this writing). Bottom line, for lanterns, maybe these work fine, but it would help if they arrived undamaged, and packed right, and of course you would send me a replacement.

Not as good as a real name-brand alkaline battery On one hand, it’s nice that you can still get these. On the other hand, you’d be much better assembling a battery holder for 8 (1.5 * 8 = 12) D cells and using real name-brand cells. “Rayovac” is not the old brand you think it is, rather it’s one of these brands owned by a company that owns a bunch of brands and manufacturers the product wherever it’s cheap.
