Matches OEM The F-50 Explorer Compass is the same as the one needing replacement. Mounted screws were included along with a brass adjusting tool to correct “Deviation.” The two wire leads are non-polarized. Mounting gasket is included. Mounted the same way as the original. The packing card said “Repairable” but the dampening fluid is non-refillable.

New Ritchie compass Failed! After receiving the flush mount compass in two days as promised. I was pleased to see that it looked quality. The install was simple and easy. This is where things changed, Three days after install, I noticed that the fluidity was evaporating! I checked to see if the unit was crack, and it was NOT. My boat is docked at a marina that does not have a covered dock which, the only explanation is that the the solution is water and was evaporated it.
