This compact, self-measuring beam compass draws circles or arcs with a 3-1/2″ to 72″ radius. Set the tape at the desired radius, locate the center point and draw your arc or circle. The positive locking tape retracts into the compass body like a tape measure. It also works as a straight-line marking gauge. Includes compass centering pin, collett and pencil lead.

USELESS The needle is too thick (1/8″) and dull. It is impossible to pin to the board unless using a hammer. The waste of money.
Whoa! What a great tool!! Love it. I used this simple little tool to draw arches over a window. Perfectly. Easy to operate, inexpensive and a perfect little tool for what I needed. Comes with a little lead (or graphite?) marker. Just set the pin, pull out to where you want to start the arch, and draw. Great!
A must have for ALL diyr’s Better than I expected and it works perfectly. For years I have attempted drawing radius curves onto my projects using the old string method. I am so glad that I finally jumped to the “other” side. This pro pass is accurate, well built and offers perfectly drawn lines. It does not matter if they are straight or radius. It is very easy to use, comes with everything you need and will end the frustration in the shop. It can be used for many things around the house as well.
