Item is great, but be warned of the harsh scent The reason for my 3-star rating is that, while it functions fine and is everything it needs to be, the pouches I ordered had a VERY strong chemical smell to them. I have had to hang them outside for several weeks to air them out, and they still have a bit of the scent. I’m not sure if it’s the plastic used, or something used to treat the fabric, but it’s really an off-putting scent. To be fair, I didn’t try to launder them, because I wasn’t sure if they would hold up to a machine washing. I may…
Works well but not perfect This works pretty much as advertised. It isn’t perfect, but I didn’t see a different brand that fit a variety of cot brands better. The downsides are (1) it has a very strong plastic smell, so air it out a few days before putting it in a confined space like a tent and (2) the straps and buckles are a bit fiddly. Velcro or snap buckles would have been easier to put on and take off. That said, it is convenient to hang off the side of your cot for your phone, Kindle, flashlight or whatever.

Not a bad thing, It should make the pouch pretty much waterproof (unlike old canvas). Has a strong plastic/diesel sort of odor that I’m hoping will dissipate with time.
