Slippery material, but sufficient for sun blocking The hat came earlier than expected and fit nicely. It has an adjustable drawstring at the top of the hat with a cute little flower, I think, for smaller heads and has a string to secure under chin. If I HAD to find 1 complaint, it would be that if it’s not tight enough, which is almost impossible on a curious baby that refuses to cooperate, it slides against hair fairly easy. Sizing is completely off Donât waste your time waiting for the order to find it doesnât fit. Our 12 month olds head is about 16 in around. Customer service claims their hats works to 19 and sit at the top of the head. It might as well be a flat circle you tie around their chin. The design of it would be wonderful, tightens around the circumstance of their heads, if only the size was right. It seems like this is a common complaint. Maybe itâs time to rethink the sizing.
