Careful Big Green Egg owners…. I bought these as an alternative to the higher priced Big Green Egg charcoal fire starters. Since using these I frequently experience a plastic and polymer after taste which permeates my food especially if it’s a short cook. If you must buy these I highly suggest planning at least an hour or an hour and half burn time prior to putting the food on.
