Snug, comfortable, no break in This boot reminds me of a Salomon boot I cherished from the 1990s that became unavailable. Having a rather wide foot and high arch makes finding a good fit in any footwear problematic for me. The boot holds my foot snuggly in place, is delightfully comfortable from the first step in it, and leave plenty of room for my toes. I suspect my ideal size would be one size smaller and a little bit wider if Salomon made an even wider boot, but this boot works because it holds my foot stable even though…
Solid boot, love them, 10/10 no complaints here! I love these! There was no break in at all, just slip them on, tie and go! Hiked with some normal short socks, and these boots really had some breathing. Thick wool socks were great too with cold weather. All around great boot, this wide model is great for my flat feet. I was worried at first the tag said 12.5 and Iâm a size 13 but they fit perfectly. Plenty of toe room at the top. Great traction on downhill trials and rocks. The tread has this arrow shape it really helps drive you forward…
I like them, they’re nice boots I like them, they’re nice boots, they fit well and look great. I got them for daily wear and walking around the city when the weather isn’t the best. I’ve worn them on some hot days to try them out and I didn’t notice my feet getting excessively hot and sweaty when paired with lightweight wool socks.I haven’t worn them in the rain yet but I have splashed through some small puddles. So I can’t truly comment on whether the Gore-Tex liner is indeed effective or not. I’ve only had them for a couple…
