Sure, there are other tarps to choose from, but do they provide everything you need to pitch the perfect shelter right out of the box? No! We include a silicon-nylon tarp, 60 feet (6 x 10 foot sections) of reflective Dyneema® guy line, six micro line-lok adjusters, and six aluminum Y-stakes. That’s everything you need!

Awesome lightweight tarp for a great price! Got out to use my new Sanctuary SilTarp last weekend for 3 nights of hammock camping! I’m able to fit the tarp in my sleeping bag compartment in my backpack along with the hammock, bugnet, suspension straps, first aid kit and set of hammock lights… so it packs down pretty tight even with the stakes in the bag. The tarp itself is very light and this and has plenty of tie outs for different set up options. We had no rain on those nights so I can yet speak of it’s waterproofness, but it is big…

I would like to see two more points on 8ft side in the future. I measured the tarp and found it a little off. Mine is actually 8’2″x9’6″. The kit as a whole is great. I prefer Y stakes, the guy lines give plenty of length, and the guy line adjusters work fine. I wish the…

I was surprised how easy it was to set up fairly taut with only … The forecast predicted 100% chance of rain all weekend so I set my new tarp up in the backyard. I was surprised how easy it was to set up fairly taut with only a little tweaking on my first try. After weeks of perusing tarp camping and ultralight backpacking sites I was anticipating it being much harder. I set it up in a high and wide A frame style and left it up all weekend. I used a trekking pole at 52″ on on end and a small 18″ pole (from my Tarptent) on the end into the prevailing…
