Love this Hat I previously owned this hat but I stupidly left it on a cruise ship so I just had to get another one. These hats hold up under any conditions. As for the packability, it is great. It does not crush at all. We just traveled out of the country and I packed it in the bottom of my suitcase so I had clothes, shoes and other things on top of it. It was in perfect condition when I took it out. I do think it’s somewhat pricey, but overall I’m so glad I purchased this again.
Love! I’d ordered the regular Scala hat first, but it was very large on my head. I ordered this hat to replace it, and it arrived in three days. This one fit perfectly! New and old! Great hat for traveling. For me, the three things that I look for in a hat is that is crushable in a suitcase, the raffia is cool on my head and the brim is perfect for blocking sun but not floppy. This hat is replacing the identical hat that I have worn for five years. We take three rather large trips a year so it gets a lot of use.
