Just don’t use it to cut branches.. Worked great as long as I only chopped up compostables and light brush like hibiscus and hydrangea bushes. This morning I used it to lop some branches off freshly downed tree limbs and the blade chipped in multiple places.

Not really a bolo, not really a machete. It’s a bushcraft beast Batoned through many six inch pieces of locust wood. Split and chopped out fat lighter sticks from a pine stump. Chopped down a 4 inch poplar tree that was growing into the power lines. This isn’t a machete, it’s an axe in disguise with a longer blade.Pros;Really thick and heavy for the size.Handle is awesome for any size hands with gloves or without.Blade edge didn’t roll or chip with very hard use.Doesn’t have the crap powder coat finish on many things of this…
