For me its perfect This is a great knife.I only use it at work.Cutting cardboard,paper,rope,rubber hoses,etc.Some of us know that paper products are very abrasive to knives.But this knife did retain its edge after a full days use.I did use this the day i recieved it.After work i gave it a full inspection.Now,the knife itself.It did cut rather well at work but,i knew it wasn’t as sharp as i wanted it to be.The cutting edge was even on both sides.If im not mistaken it’s suppose to be 20 degrees,flat grind.Well,they…

Fantastic knife for the money For the money…. great knife… solid sheath…. and a decent firesteel. Knife is sharp, sturdy enough to baton wood with no trouble at all, and fits securely in its sheath. Great practice outdoor knife.

Little Blade Than Can First let me say that I love that Schrade made a universal sheath. Thank you. The steel on this is supposed to be 65Mn high carbon. Blade length is just a tad over 3.75 inches. It does come with a ferro rod and a striker too. Seems there were some initial issues as to whether this knife could perform as a fire starter. Several videos on line prove that it can if you do some minor adjustments to the blade. So here are the pro’s: Very light weight at 6 ounces. Love the textured handle…
