Be prepared! This is better than some and I would trust it to get me out of a small situation really quick! It is okay. It is good for emergency use and if you need to dig.It is not something I would depend on 100% because it is loose at the connection point (bit jiggly) as to where if I swung it like a strong man it would break and especially if I used it like a pick.It is not strong like Army issued, but it will do in a survival situation. You will want to have this better than having nothing at all. Trust me.Be prepared!

Garbage! Truly a case of “you get what you pay for” but in this case, I don’t even feel like I got the $11 worth that I have for this.

PaulTD says:

Quite acceptable for the price. I was going to rate this a 2-star shovel, then I was reminded of what I paid for it, less than $12. For that price it’s fabulous. A little flimsy, not for daily or regular use, but for occasional dousing of a campfire or digging a pit, should work just fine.
