An outstanding value! Initially, I bought two black lanterns. Suprisingly they arrived on the daybefore hurricane Sandy and FrankenStorm hit my state, CT. When I installed the two “D” cell batteries and turned the lantern on I was amazed at how well it worked! The dimming feature is what impressed me. It went from very dim to very bright depending on the setting. I ordered two more on the same say. Lanterns for emergency or Camping use I bought 3 of these lanterns a couple of years ago to be available for emergencies. I thought they would be much safer than candles when we would lose power, as we do a couple of times a year. They worked out perfectly, so My Wife decided to buy 20 of them from you and give them out to various Family members to use however they wanted to. Hogfest 2015! O.k. The lantern was purchased for a Hog Roast we put on at our house. We started the hog at 8:00 p.m. the night before, and used the little lantern to check the thermometers on the grill, along with various other small jobs while tending the fire.
