Mine arrived looking more like a bow than a walking/hiking staff and had been … Although the reviews were mixed on this product, I went ahead and took a chance. The price was right but as was mentioned, you get what you pay for. Mine arrived looking more like a bow than a walking/hiking staff and had been ground out by almost 50% 1/3 up from the bottom. I like the color and design however, Due to the extreme bow shape it is unusable as a hiking stick. Buyer beware!

Great for the use I intended I have a condition that causes me to have chronic balance issues and wanted something I could carry that didn’t look like a cane and would be easy to use when I needed some help. There is adequate figuring from wood grain and knots to make it interesting looking. I detect no significant grain splits as complained by others.
