Just what I wanted! My 50 year old house, needs a lot of maintenance. But when I needed a lamp and went to the local Big Box, I couldn’t find anything I liked, and didn’t want to spend $100.00 and settle.I wanted a large single bulb with frosted glass in black. Nice post lamp / Good value Well made, cast alum. Frosted globe hides bulb from view & diffuses light nicely. I placed a small piece of alum. foil inside on the side facing the house, to limit the light entering front windows & foil is not really visible. Brass nut posts on lid. Seems very weather tight. Uses std A19 household bulb so you can use (1) CFL / LED bulb, in the wattage you desire.
Beautiful! LOVE IT! This replaced a circa 1974 post lamp that was only about half the size and looked…well….like it was from the 70’s LOL. The size of this lamp is probably twice as big as our old one, so the new style light bulbs fits much better. It fit perfectly onto our current post, with only one problem – the old post has 3 holes to screw on the lamp, but this lamp only has two, so there’s no way to line them up. So, we just crammed it onto the post, pushed it down as far as it would go, and…
