The Alpha set cutlery uses a durable hard-anodized aircraft grade aluminum combined with a sleek-yet-strong shape to create an extremely lightweight utensil at a surprisingly affordable price. By hard anodizing the aluminum it forms a kind of “exoskeleton’, so the shape of the utensils can be slimmer and lighter. This hardened “shell” also encapsulates the aluminum, so there is NO risk of the alloy “leaching” onto food. Alpha Set includes a Knife, Fork, and Spoon (3 items) plus a mini-carabineer to hold them together. The individual utensils have several holes punched out of the handle to reduce weight and one hole is hexagonal shaped to serve as a hex wrench.

Product Features

  • Ultra-light and strong 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy
  • Hard anodized aluminum for safe, life long use
  • Smooth matte finish
  • Lightest metal cutlery on the market

Spork is a funny word. I had been meaning to get one of these for years to throw in my camping gear. Instead I put it in my every day bag, and I am SHOCKED at how often I use it. Having an actual utensil at your disposal if you go places like farmers markets or fairs is really quite nice. I thought the tines would be more in the way for scooping, but they’re really not. It’s a spork. I dunno why I’m so surprised. But having an ultra-light tool for the job that tucks away neatly is unusually helpful.

Nobody said HOW long this long spork was…. Ahhh, yes! Just what I have been looking for!

Buy this one, its awesome! This is one of those pieces of kit (along with my Toaks 750) that just makes me happy. The long handle is great for getting down in a mountain house bag, but its also great for flipping a steak on my little backpack grill grate. Also, compared to other sporks ive used, this one has some of the better tines. Compared to the folding Toaks spork, this one can dig into a piece of meat (steak) much better. The mini caribiner fell apart but i never used it so im not docking a point. I used to…
