They still have a slight smell to them but not too bad. I probably wouldn’t have purchased these if I … Bought these for my sons to use when camping. I thought they were going to be red as the picture shows, but they were yellow. They are a little heavy for being small. They had a VERY strong rubber smell to them and I had to leave them outside for a couple days to “air” out. They still have a slight smell to them but not too bad. I probably wouldn’t have purchased these if I had known of the smell, it was that bad. Overall, not a horrible product, but I would shop around.
Be prepared for them to fail You get what you pay for. I wasn’t expecting a top notch axe by any means, considering the price, but even these fell short of my expectations. I am clearing land and bought these to chop up roots that stick up through the dirt. So, cheap axes were what I needed. These axe heads are siliconed on to the handle as their means of “attaching” them. And after only a few hours of use per axe, they are both useless. The axe heads have come off both of them. Time to make some wooden…
NOT AS PICTURED Not like what is pictured. Shipped with yellow handles. Handles have chips. Sticky glue residue on handles. No worth the hassle of sending back. I will replace the handles.
