Definitely a keeper for the car I just received this a few days ago as an early Christmas present. With the ground being frozen, I haven’t had the chance to use it just yet, but I did get to set it up. It feels pretty solid and is definitely something I would like to have in the trunk of my car to get me out of a pinch. The shovel/pick comes in three pieces (head/pick and two sections of handle). I could see myself only using one piece of handle and using it like a hand pick on occasion.

Powerful Little Shovel This survival shovel is very well put together and will hold up for sure during use. I was surprised at the compact size but heavy weight of this when it came. The weight of it let me know how durable it will be, it is not flimsy. it comes apart in 3 pieces so it easily fits in the carrying case. Was easy for me to put together. The handle is made of a great grip so I won’t loose my handhold when shoveling. I also really liked the serrated edge on one side of it. The teeth could easily tear…
