DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT The vacuum was delivered on June 21, 2017, and died on August 28, 2017. Nothing happened during the less than 12 times it was used which would have caused it to quit working except for poor quality of the unit. Trying to deal with their customer service was frustrating at best. The worst part is that they stick their customers with paying the shipping costs to replace products that are under warranty. I cannot recommend either the product or the company.
Amazon Customer Service gets an A+ but Shark gets an F Amazon Customer Service gets an A+ but Shark gets an F. This vacuum worked very well for 8 weeks – used it once a week, so used it 8 times total. The roller brush stopped rolling once around the 6th use because of the roller brush getting heavily wrapped in dog and girls long hair (took a year for prior other vacuums to do this) so we used scissors to cut the matted hair and remove from roller brush. Then the roller brush worked fine again for 2 more uses then it just stopped rolling…
Company is not honoring the five-year warranty Caution: company is not honoring the five-year warranty. As I write this review, you are able to download a pdf copy of the warranty from within the amazon product description. The company refers to the bottom portion of this vacuum as a “floor nozzle” (i.e., the part that you roll along the floor, which contains the brush, belt, small motor and electronic circuitry). This is the part that failed on our unit after 2 years and 8 months. It is a major part of the vacuum, not a consumable…
