Does the job of protecting me from the blazing sun out here in California. Brim is stiffened and lined on both sides and sewn well with the lining anchored by several rows of stitching. I like how the flatteringly shaped brim extends almost all the way around your head to keep the sides of your face, chin, and ears in shade. When both the face flap and the back flap are used, all parts of the delicate skin on your neck are protected. Material is 100%…
Not bad but not quite as expected Not good for very warm days—-it can be like wearing a heater! You’ll find yourself stripping off layer after layer. The facemask, if fitted, makes breathing difficult.The brim, though, is nice and large.The face/throat flaps, if left open, provide hair coverage, which is good.
Ready for summer! OMG! why would anyone write a negative review? This hat is the bomb! (no pun intended) This hat works so well for keeping the sun off your face. The face mask part isn’t “detachable” as described, but! you can easily move it to the back of the hat for extra neck protection (redneck tan anyone?) and it has a great little slit in the back for your ponytail, AMAZING! Love love love this product. Will be buying a few more soon!
