Happily surprised Based on initial inspection this is pretty good value. The compass is accurate within 10 degrees, good enough for what I need. The thermometer appears to be correct as well, which it should be. The little magnifying glass is actually quite a clear view. The whistle works well of course.Good buy.
Compass and whistle work okay. The thermometer has a lot to be desired I should of shopped around more. I was able to pick up the exact compass thermometer at Walmart for $3.00. The only difference is the color and the name that was stamped on it. The compass works well and the whistle is loud.Accuracy of temperature is very crude. The temperature increments on the thermometer are 5 degrees.
I love it! I got this mainly for the thermometer for backpacking and camping. I love that it reads in Fahrenheit and in Celsius. So far it seems pretty darn accurate! The whistle and compass are just an added bonus, in my opinion. Both of those features seem to work well also. I like this so much, I may buy another one just to have on my purse. The whistle can be used to deter a possible attacker, by drawing attention to yourself.. Plus, I just like knowing the general temperature, without having to rely…
