Not waterproof! These aren’t waterproof as advertised. I hadn’t had the opportunity to hike in the rain with my girlfriend as I bought her a pair as a gift. Fits well and looks good, but I was drenched. I tried it out on a rainy day and my Gortex boots got drenched from the inside because my socks got wet! Luckily we hiked nearby the house and it was not cold out yet. I can only imagine the misery and risk of hypothermia if I had used it on a mountain. Not waterproof Not even close to being waterproof. I wouldnât even say water resistant. The knees are made out of mesh that I assumed was just on the outside of a wp pant but it actually is an insert and leeks like a sieve, literally. The solid material doesnât seem to repel water much either. I know these Chines products are hit or miss, which accounts for the cheapness, but it is usually more about the long term quality of the product.
