Here’s what to expect ð They’ll keep you dry in moderate rainfall but not a downpour. Dry Weather in the mid 40s F and below will need extra insulation like thermals to stay warm– unless you’re on a hike. If you’re active, I’d say they’d be okay down to the mid 30s. Not waterproof! These aren’t waterproof as advertised. I hadn’t had the opportunity to hike in the rain with my girlfriend as I bought her a pair as a gift. Fits well and looks good, but I was drenched. I tried it out on a rainy day and my Gortex boots got drenched from the inside because my socks got wet! Not waterproof Not even close to being waterproof. I wouldnât even say water resistant. The knees are made out of mesh that I assumed was just on the outside of a wp pant but it actually is an insert and leeks like a sieve, literally. The solid material doesnât seem to repel water much either. I know these Chines products are hit or miss, which accounts for the cheapness, but it is usually more about the long term quality of the product.
