Incredible pants for winter activities – keep your warm and dry…. These pants are really incredible. Warm, flexible, breathable and extremely waterproof and windproof. I purchased them for hiking. And they are great for that. But then my son and I went sleigh riding today. We rolled around in the powdery snow for more than two hours. Much to my surprise and delight I was completely dry and warm. Highly recommend these.
but they are a little bit tighter on my waist than I would like considering how many layers you wear when you’re skiing I bought this as a 5’6″ woman (I normally wear a size 6 in women’s clothing) to use as skiing pants. They fit well, but they are a little bit tighter on my waist than I would like considering how many layers you wear when you’re skiing. It is not uncomfortable enough for me to not wear the pants, but I just think the elastic waist is a tiny bit too tight. Otherwise, the material is great, it wears well, the length is great (for me), and the cut is perfect to get into ski boots.
My butt is so happy. As a PNW lifer, I’m not new to the snow and the misery that goes along with it. But thanks to these pants, gone are the days of spending 2.5 minutes in the snow and then retreating indoors to warm up and escape the impending hypothermia.
