They sit just above my knees and are very comfortable at the waist I’m a 5’8″ woman with an athletic build and I ordered the large. They sit just above my knees and are very comfortable at the waist.I love the pocket design, went kayaking wearing these and zipped my keys inside, they stayed perfectly dry. The fabric is light weight but also tough enough to resist branch snags. Highly recommend!!

Great, but, zipper flap sewed on backwards. Great shorts with one problem. Notice the negative comments about the zipper pockets. Notice the product photo. The zipper flap is sewed on backwards – opposite the normal direction. This makes it awkward, and slow to find the zipper, and/or access the pocket, as the flap needs to be pulled back to expose the zipper (normally your hand simply slides in, moving the flap and finding the zipper in one motion).
