The material is very nice and lightweight I bought these for a vacation trip to Chile. The material is very nice and lightweight. They were warm enough for colder morning but not too hot when it warmed up in the afternoon. Used them on (2) day hikes we did while on vacation. On the 2nd day i used them the zipper on the right pocket broke. I cant get in to zip up at all anymore. I bought pants with zippered pockets so i would not have to worry about my phone falling out. Run a bit small, great pants, not fully waterproof. I really love these pants! Wish they made more in other colors. They were perfect for my hiking adventures. Lightweight. They are not waterproof, the area around the knees is like mesh so when it started to rain the water leaked in there, however I wasnât dripping and they didnât hold the water and dried very fast. I will say I had to order the XL even though I typically wear a 14. So they do run smaller than the size chart suggested.
