It’s still a fun learning tool My kid loves playing with this, and I think it’s a safe way to teach him how to use a kitchen knife (eventually!). A couple of the vegetables can’t be cut (corn, lettuce) while others can only be take one cut (e.g. carrot, eggplant). It’s still a fun learning tool. Since the veggies are made out of plastic, I don’t have to worry too much about my kids getting hurt by throwing/dropping them.

Great for 18 month old My daughter just got a play kitchen and this is a great addition to other play food. She doesn’t cut the veggies properly just yet, but enjoys it when I help her. I love that she is learning more vegetables and pretending to eat them. Great set, worth the money
