Worth the money I was given Smartwool socks years ago as a gift. Yes they are expensive socks but they are the perfect fit, perfect softness, perfect temperature, perfect padding. I reward myself each year now and buy a few pairs. Since they are more expensive than other socks I am pretty diligent on making sure the washing machine or dryer doesn’t eat them. You know what I mean there is a sock monster in every house 😉 I pair the sock as soon as they come out of the dryer.
Good quality, but run large. Men’s sizing. These are large for a 7-1/2 woman’s shoe size, even after washing. They are obviously sized for men, not women. I still like Smart Wool quality, but they should size these correctly. I would have bought a small, and now it is too late to exchange. I don’t know any great big women to pass these on to .I have two pair that are still good after almost 20 years and lots of hiking mileage. Just wish I had purchased these in “small.”
Will buy more I like this sock and I’m even wearing it in the summer. Ill be looking for sock liners to keep it clean. I plan to buy more Smartwool socks. Great to find sized women’s socks. Most expensive sock I ever bought but so far I think it was worth it. Light weight is good for not making your shoes feel tight.
