Much too big I wanted to love these. But after a 4-mile hike in these, I’m really unimpressed. I ordered the medium, but, after washing, they are quite a bit too large for my size 7.5 feet. They are too big in the toe area and are close to an inch too long. It made the hike much more uncomfortable than last week’s hike, which I did in cotton socks.
Love Smart Wool Love this for hiking and working out at the gym. People think that because it says “wool”, that it will be itchy and hot. It is not — I live in FL — it is HOT down here and I wear these socks for my daily long walks and working out at the gym. Really nice socks.
I love Smartwool socks I love Smartwool socks, always have. I bought three pairs of these and took them hiking, and they were great. They arrived quickly and fit well in the size large for my size 11 feet. They kept my feet warm in the rain, but also cool as I hiked. These are not very thick socks, I wouldn’t wear them with boots, but they are perfect for sneakers and summer hiking.
