dry and cool. They have a good arch support that helps … Smartwool socks are well worth the extra cost because they last longer and hold up in the wash. Don’t over dry them but take the socks out of the dryer when still damp and then air dry. I do that to prevent any unwanted shrinkage of the sock. Smartwool keep your feet cushioned, dry and cool. They have a good arch support that helps if you struggle with plantar fasciitis. I have found that the higher the wool content, the more support they give.

Will buy more I like this sock and I’m even wearing it in the summer. Ill be looking for sock liners to keep it clean. I plan to buy more Smartwool socks. Great to find sized women’s socks. Most expensive sock I ever bought but so far I think it was worth it. Light weight is good for not making your shoes feel tight.

Debbie L O'Halloran says:

Smart Wool Socks These socks were purchased to protect the incisions on my lower leg near the ankle due to surgery. Not only did I need the proper coverages, I also needed a sock that would not rub up against the incisions and cause discomfort. My leg currently uses a boot to stabilize my ankle. These sock are comfortable, protect my leg, do not slouch, wick away moisture, and keep my feet warm.
