Pretty good for the price Always wanted a boot knife and when I came across this one for the price well I couldn’t pass up . The knife feels really good when you grab a hold of it. Pretty Cool Knife Could it be sharper? Yes, but it would cut a piece of rope just fine. For the price, it is a steal. This is basically a bar of sharpened steel. It is a unique design for the blade. Cool, but could have been a lot cooler. In my humble opinion, this knife would have been a lot better if the designer hadn’t added the slight curvature to the blade as this creates a bit of a sharpening issue. Be sure that you have a good rod sharpener to account for the heel’s blade curvature. Otherwise, you’ll have to leave about 1/3 of the blade (part of the primary bevel extending to the back of the heel) untouched (or sharpened in a 2nd stage) since it isn’t level with the rest of the blade.
