Beautfiul tool but skeptical of safety. This is a very beautiful knife but I am uncertain as to the safety of this item. I bought this at Christmas for myself and to date have only looked at the knife several times to get a feel for it. Several times out of approximately ten openings the blade failed to lock in the open position and twice the blade actually closed on my fingers, once resulting in a minor cut. I bought several other knives as presents and all of them open and lock securely. One of them is a S&W medium SWAT style…

Excellent and SUPER sharp This is an exceptional quality knife. Bought two – one for me and my husband. Super duper sharp. Opens swiftly and has a terrific catch. Safety button is a nice feature. The grip is like sandpaper – which would be great if it were wet – probably not comfortable in a bare hand though for a long period of time. Super Super Sharp – be careful. Check your “carry” laws in your state.

I’ve tried to replace it and keep coming back. I never wear pants without it. Im on my fourth SWAT tool in probably 10 years. I’ve broken 1 using it as a pry bar not the tools fault. Ive lost one in the normal way and one in a river. Ive had just about every good brand of locking blade and none have stayed in my pocket better. The scales have something similar to sandpaper on them which means they grip the inside of the pocket. This is the only knife I’ve ever owned whose clip never bent. The blades are great! The factory edge is sharp but not exactly strong…
