The SOG Specialty Knives & Tools CD02-L Creed is a unique fixed blade knife that maximizes the cutting edge for extreme wilderness and hunting situations, while delivering on its promise of high-level performance. Made of AUS-8 steel with an attractive hardcase black TiNi finish, the 7.5-inch straight edge, fixed blade has a clip point shape that allows a quicker and deeper puncture upon insertion, sharpens easily and makes quick work of any task. The very stout front end weights the knife forward for chopping and piercing, while providing a great example of a collectable and working knife coming together. The ergonomically contoured and well-balanced handle has a black finish and is made of Kraton to fit comfortably in your hand. The synthetic rubber material on the handle provides a no-slip grip with increased heat, wear and chemical resistance. SOG’s unique cryogenic heat treatment process results in an overall increase in toughness and heightened wear-resistance. A black leather sheath is included to keep the Creed safely protected and close to you at all times. The tool has a lanyard hole, nylon lanyard and a belt loop attachment with snap closure on the sheath for added portability. This knife has an overall length of 12.13-inches, blade thickness of 0.24-inches and weighs 12.8-ounces. nice knife This is a really nice knife and I like it. I don’t have anything bad to say about the knife itself. The only negative is the price & it’s made in Taiwan. It looks great and feels good in my hand but I would say it’s a 5star at $80 not $150. But thats just me.
love this Im a huge knife and gun collector and must say this knife is tip top. I love the feel of it. The weight is right handle fits comfortable and i love the robust blade. One of my new favorites. The sheath however does need some work. I tried searching for a kydex but no luck. The button snap on the inside if the sheath is creating a wear on the blade removing and sheatihing. And first day out of the box the leather is cracking. I still gave 5 stars and highly recommend this blade
I wanted something like the Bowie knife and this certainly lives up to … Big Knife! I wanted something like the Bowie knife and this certainly lives up to its famous name. This is a real work knife, not a display toy. Heavy weighted at the blade end so it can slash through vines and small saplings. I’m happy it’s not a real Bowie knife, I understand the originals were massive and I didn’t want to carry something that heavy when cutting firewood or mowing the yard.
