Absolute garbage I have been a fan of SOG for years and have many of their pieces. When I saw this one, a smaller version of a knife I already have but with spring assisted opening, I jumped on it.That was a mistake.I’ve never had a knife that was so difficult to open one handed, which is the key reason you buy a knife with spring assisted opening. Touche Unlike some of the reviews, mine has been pleasantly exquisite. Even though I’m coming from the little 7-9 dollar budget knifes this one I feel is still a step up. Sharp out of the packaging. My only complaint would be the position of the pocket clip. I’m right handed and the placement, in my opinion, is better suited for a lefty. Nevertheless, I am still giving it five stars because that’s small potatoes in my book. Totally satisfied. 🙂

great knife with a price to match. bought this to replace a flash II that i lost. as other reviews have stated, it’s a royal pain to open when new. play with it a lot and it’ll loosen up. at first, i plainly could not open it 1-handed. then after a few minutes of swinging the blade back and forth (never closing or fully opening it) i was able to open it with my right hand using both my thumb and index finger pushing on the studs on either side (i am southpaw, but couldnt get a good grip with my left hand. the pocket clip helps…
