Very Poor Quality One of the handles is floppy loose, and won’t even stay put under gravity pressure. It moves when using the pliers, making it impossible to close the pliers, making them useless. The ”file” is a piece of stainless with a few lines drawn on it. It won’t even file my fingernails. The tiny screwdriver is too big for most eyeglass screws. Great idea but bad pliers The shape of the Q3 is a great idea. The various tools work well. The material and finish are very good. The only fault are the pliers: When using it, the handles have a tendency to telescope back in making it impossible to grip things without having to use both hands to extend the handles again. It is OK for low power grips. But very difficult to use when you need to apply higher torque.

The SOG Baton series is a reimagining of the multi-tool that works extremely well for me. There are still two swing arms (which you have to have for pliers or scissors); however, the swing arms slide together to form an in-line bar rather…
