The footrest connection is poorly design and BREAKS! We bought two of these chairs – they looked so good on paper. They worked great the first time we used them, and used them a week. We then went out a second time, and I removed a footrest this time (so I could the chair at a table), and reinstalled the footrest later – only to find that the footrest connection assembly was cracked and broke! Heartbroken in Hawaii with Broken Chairs… We are stationed in Hawaii and my parent decided to buy me this chair for beach day. It was great. I pulled it out of Amazin’s big blue gift bag and couldn’t be happier until the first trip to the beach. My chair broke. I was so sad.
