Perfect for the beach & pool. Perfect for the beach although you do need to weigh down the sides or use the clips you push into the ground on windy days. Dries fast, sand shakes off easily. Tip: turn the sand pockets inside out to get all the sand out when shaking the blanket. Waterproof – no because it’s not designed to be waterproof. This Beach Towel Delivers! I got this beach towel for my Ft. Lauderdale trip. As long as you make sure you put the sand in the side pockets, this will work for you! Once you are done with the towel, I turned the pockets inside out to get rid of the sand. This towel is HUGE but it is easy to roll and fold. I was worried about the color bleeding when I put it in the washer but it didn’t bleed at all. I would recommend this towel for any person that frequents the beach.
