The mid-sized Tenacious has a black G-10 laminate handle, ergonomically milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Skeletonized steel liners tucked inside the handle, increase the handle’s rigidity and strength without non-functional weight or thickness. The 8Cr13MoV stainless blade is coated in a non-reflective black coating and ground-flat from spine to cutting-edge for non-stop cutting. The blade’s shape, coupled with an oversized Spyderco Round Hole, position the hand for instant and confident blade opening. Sharp from tip to hilt, the Tenacious offers the most cutting edge possible for the blade’s length. A black 4-way pocket clip lets the folder be set in a variety of carry and draw positions: Tip-up/tip-down left-hand/right-hand.

Got tired of asking my coworkers for a blade to use, and now I can’t stop looking at knives. I looked into knives pretty heavily after picking up a Cryo 2 from a local military surplus, and I’ve been on the hunt for an edc ever since (Cryo 2 weighed a bit much for me). And when I say edc, i’m talking about pretty basic stuff like box/strap cutting for warehouse work.After using it for a full 8 hour shift, I noticed that i kept wanting a smaller profile. It’s a little bulky from top to bottom in my preference but the handle thickness is nice and slim. Fits in a pocket…
Incredible value. Great knife. Wonderful handles, comfort, and blade profile. So many things are right. Really, an incredible build and quality for this price. I’ve had a couple other knives that Spyderco has made in China and, as long as real Spyderco, they are fantastically well put together. Higher tolerances and fit/finish than most any US knife maker except for custom (and higher than most of them). The G-10 handles are really high quality, nicely machined and finished. After loosing my $250 benchmade this was the replacement……. After loosing my $250 benchmade this was the replacement. Before you go jumping to conclusions…the benchmade was an AWESOME knife! But heres my thing…this knife (its still pretty new) I can buy/loose 5-6 of these before I’m upside down on losing 1 benchmade. I don’t work with my knife for a living, nor does it put food on my table for my family (unless I kill something with it), and if I had to rely on a knife to do such, then MAYBE ….I mean MAYBE then I’d spend another $250+ on another…
