Best compass out of 30 tested Used for steronets and geological structure mapping. I was in a class of 30 and everyone had a different compass. This one was by far the best. This item is 100% worth the money. Delivered on time.
Works Great! I would probably give this a 4.5 because the steel tip doesn’t always stay in place real well. That being said, if you tighten it super tight it’s not bad. Everything else is pretty solid and I expect to be able to use this protractor for a long time. Thanks.
Staedtler misses the mark I bought this because it is a Staedtler and I was willing to pay more and only have to buy a compass once. I wanted a compass that was both versatile, in changing out tips and circle size diameters, and accurate, in that it wouldn’t flex or otherwise change a set. It does have some versatility, though the screw that holds tips in came loose so that the screw keeps spinning when trying to tighten the thumb wheel. An even more significant issue is the lack of accuracy. The speed settings…
