Clear communication. Terrific peace of mind for beginner kayak-er in the ocean and sound fishing. Simple to operate, enjoy having weather radio channels when camping on the beach. Never had to call for help, so all communication was close in making sure I was seen and warning others of shoals in area. All cals were clear and understandable even with my sever tinnitus.
